CoolDraw was created by Malek Qasem and Anas Dallah, two network solution architects with extensive experience working at international vendors including Cisco, Juniper, and Extreme Networks. Over the course of their careers, they have designed, deployed, and troubleshot enterprise networks across the Middle East and beyond, gaining deep expertise in routing, switching, security, and software-defined architectures.
The idea for CoolDraw came from a frustration that every network engineer knows well: creating professional network diagrams has always been harder than it should be. Existing tools were either too generic, too expensive, or simply not built with the network engineer's workflow in mind. Cisco icons had to be hunted down, exported diagrams looked inconsistent, and collaboration was an afterthought.
Malek and Anas set out to build something different. By combining their long experience in network design with the power of Manus AI, they developed CoolDraw as a purpose-built drawing tool for IT engineers. Every feature was shaped by real-world needs: official Cisco PMS 3015 icons, animated packet flows for presentations, one-click export to SVG, PNG, GIF, PowerPoint, and draw.io, and a canvas that feels intuitive from the first click.
CoolDraw is not just a diagram tool. It is the result of decades of field experience distilled into software, built by engineers who understand what other engineers need. Whether you are designing a data center spine-leaf fabric, mapping an SD-Access deployment, or preparing a proposal for a customer, CoolDraw helps you communicate your vision clearly and professionally.
Every decision we make is guided by what makes network professionals more productive.
We have spent our careers inside enterprise networks. CoolDraw reflects the vocabulary, workflows, and standards that network engineers actually use, from VLAN tagging labels to proper Cisco icon placement.
We leveraged Manus AI to accelerate development without compromising quality. The result is a tool that evolves rapidly, incorporating feedback from the engineering community in real time.
Professional network diagrams should not require expensive licenses. CoolDraw offers a generous free tier so that every engineer, student, and consultant can create polished diagrams from day one.
